.IT Domain Name Registrations

Introduced in 1987, Italy’s dot IT country-specific domain name extension is very popular both within the country and in the English-speaking world. The reason is that the domain is a pronoun, which can be used for building imaginative and interesting domain names – write.it, youcanmake.it and so on. Due to the fact that .IT domains are not sold directly by IT-NIC, the Registry that administrates this top-level extension, such a domain can be ordered through a third-party company, such as ours. Because there are existing 2nd-level Domains that include names of different territories and localities in Italy reserved for local third-level registrations, new names that include geographical regions of any sort are not allowed on any level to avoid any future confusion.
